Coffee & Tea

  • Intelligentsia Coffee & Tea

The floor tiles are the best. It's in Sunset Junction, so in the heart of Silver Lake on Sunset, lot's of things in walking distance - Mohawk General Store, the great French restaurant Cafe Stella, etc.

  • figaro brasserie

Outdoor seating in the beautiful Los Feliz neighborhood. It's also a bar and full restaurant, the pastries are really good.

  • Family

Great books, art shows, zines, magazines etc. Within walking distance to a bunch of things like: Supreme, RVCA, Known Gallery, Keep, Cinefamily / Silent Movie Theater, and the Los Angeles staple.. Cantor's Deli.

  • Mohawk General Store

From the founders of The Generic Man shoe line.. a store full of mid century modern furniture, home accessories, clothing, books etc.

  • Little Dom's

One of my favorite brunch spots ever. The pizza's are traditional Italian with super thin crusts, and are amazing.. The breakfast menu is so good too; french toast soufflé & ricotta blueberry pancakes are my favorites. The environment is rad, the space is really well designed & has great outdoor seating in my favorite LA neighborhood, Los Feliz..

  • The Oinkster

BURGERS! My friends own this spot, and they make some of the best burger in town. Local spot in Eagle Rock / HP and they just opened a second location in Hollywood. They also own another great Italian restaurant called Maximilliano as well as an art gallery in Highland Park called Slow Culture.

  • El Prado

Really nice little spot in Echo Park / Silver Lake, I love how small of a space it is.. friendly neighborhood bar.

  • Footsie's

I actually don't know, but we usually end up there.

  • The Eames House (Case Study House #8)

If you are a fan of mid century design then you should visit the Eames house where you can peak into their home and studio..

  • Sunset Hollywood Horse Ranch

There are 60 miles of horse trails in the Hollywood Hills.. go up to the Sunset Ranch and get on a horse and take it all in. I took riding lessons there for 3 years.. it's pretty amazing hanging out with such rad animals. You can also just go up there and pet the horses and feed them carrots if you're scared of riding.
